Angry Birds: The most famous Birds on Earth.

Yes of course, as others milions of people I’m a fan of the famous game « Angry Birds » from Finnish game developer Rovio Entertainment. The design is so nice & original but the most enjoyable is that you never lose in this game. It is also a proof that selling fun can enable a company to generate a turnover of over U.S. $ 80M. Beyond the money received from the bird that lays Golden Eggs, « Angry Birds » is an international marketing phenomenon with partnerships such as Facebook and Google Chrome.

This originality in the marketing and advertising approach has helped Rovio to turn « Angry Birds » into a brand that could be worth up to 1 billion-dollars ! The brand enjoys its reputation for releasing new products such as mugs or lint but also open new stores. Now Rovio has opened « Angry Birds » themed activity park in the UK – the first one to open outside of Finland.

It’s Rovio’s innovation that participate to develop the nervous bird wings and will continue to renew its success in November: Rovio will announce the new game « Angry Birds Star Wars ». To build a brand like Disney or Super Mario Bros., Rovio need constancy and perseverance.
